About your role and responsibilities:

We are currently searching for a Compliance and Process Design Specialist to monitor and manage compliance obligations for EU and US companies, while also evaluating and researching new market opportunities.

As a Compliance and Process Design Specialist at Guardo.biz you will…

  • Monitor and analyze regulatory compliance standards for EU and US companies, offering strategic advice on market entrances and risks.
  • Maintain and analyze regulatory compliance standards within the European Union.
  • Develop project plans for new market entry, track progress, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Communicate effectively and build strong relationships with regulators, accredited test facilities, internal departments, external customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Advise on activities within current European markets to ensure compliance.
  • Manage regulatory reporting tasks, including legislation analysis, understanding regulations, handling queries, administrative tasks, and policy drafting.

About you:

  • At least 3 years in a compliance and/or in a process design related role.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, efficient networker, and collaborative team player.
  • Experience of coordinating audits.
  • Experience in communicating with people at all levels as an expert as well as excellence in stakeholder management with a high level of integrity.
  • Experience in project management; develop project plans, track progress, prepare reports and manage expectations.
  • Commercial mindset and business acumen.
  • Adaptable and agile, can work in a fast-paced environment and respond and re-prioritize quickly when internal or external changes demand.
  • Possess analytical skills, attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
  • Proficient level of computer skills and experience in spreadsheets.
  • Languages besides English, which is mandatory, are a plus.

Bonus points if you have:

  • A portfolio of previous compliance products managed and/or developed by you,
  • Secondary education or professional experience relevant to the job,
  • Working experience in a fast paced and ever changing environment with high degrees of uncertainty,
  • Strong preference for automation and for leveraging AI tools.
